Which CHUEN product fits your routine?

Compare the roles of the soap, moisturising jar and portable cream, with simple routine ideas and questions to ask before choosing.

The three CHUEN products together on white linen

A useful starting point is to ask: what do I want this step to do? Cleanse, moisturise, or provide a body cream that is easy to carry? The CHUEN collection has three different roles. You do not need to start by using everything.

A quick comparison

1. Gentle Care Soap: the cleansing step

Consider Gentle Care Soap when looking for a wash-off cleansing product. The brand’s directions specify face and body use with water, followed by rinsing. It is not a leave-on moisturiser.

Wet the skin and soap, lather according to the label and rinse thoroughly. Avoid vigorous rubbing. Store the bar in a draining soap dish rather than leaving it standing in water.

If your skin is very dry or sensitive to fragrance, check the formula and suitability before choosing. The word “gentle” alone is not enough to determine how your skin will respond.

2. Calming & Moisturizing Cream: the moisture step

This jar is described as a face and body moisturiser. Consider it after cleansing, following the label’s application areas and directions. Avoid the eye area and open wounds.

A suitable moisturiser may be enough for your post-shower routine; you do not need to layer Soothing Cream over it every time. Use clean hands or a clean, dry tool and close the jar after use.

3. Soothing Cream: a portable body cream

The brand describes a white cream, cooling feel and delicate dok peeb scent. The portable tube may suit people who enjoy this sensory experience and want a product for their personal care routine during the day.

Use on the body as directed. It does not replace cleansing, and a cooling sensation is not evidence that a product treats pain or skin disease. Check the ingredients if you are sensitive to scents.

Simple ways to build a routine

For everyday post-shower care

Cleanse with a suitable product, rinse, pat gently and apply an appropriate moisturiser. General AAD guidance recommends moisturising while skin is damp and choosing fragrance-free formulas for dry skin.

For something to carry

Consider Soothing Cream if its purpose, scent and ingredients suit you. Close the cap securely and do not leave it in a hot car. Follow the storage information on your actual pack.

For fewer products on your shelf

Start with the step you are missing. If your existing cleanser feels comfortable, there is no need to replace your entire routine. Introducing one product at a time makes it easier to observe your skin’s response.

Five questions before choosing

  1. Do I need a rinse-off cleanser or a leave-on moisturiser?
  2. Will I use it on my face or body?
  3. Do I enjoy fragrance, or am I sensitive to it?
  4. Have I reacted to particular ingredients before?
  5. Does the size and packaging suit the way I will use it?

Sizes, prices and formula information can change. Check the product page and actual label before ordering, and ask the team if details differ.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need all three products?

No. Choose for your routine, needs and skin suitability.

Are the jar and tube interchangeable?

They should not be treated as the same formula in different packaging. Follow the intended use of each.

What if my skin is already irritated?

Do not choose solely from an article or product photograph. Stop a suspected irritant and seek professional advice if symptoms do not improve.

Explore the collection or ask the CHUEN team, naming the product and information you would like to check.
